Bells Hotel and the Forest of Dean Golf Club

The Forest of Dean Golf Club at Bells is set in the beauty of the Forest of Dean countryside. The Golf Club was founded in 1973. With unique rolling parkland, lakes, streams, bunkers and woodland, this undulating par 69 eighteen hole golf course provides a challenge to all categories of golfers and is a joy to play. The golf course is well-maintained and mature with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Those who like an easy start will be pleased to know that the hotel is adjacent to the first tee, allowing you to start your game straightaway. The tenth tee is also next to the hotel, making it easy to fit in a quick nine holes. The Forest of Dean Golf Club complex also incorporates a large practice ground, chipping green and putting green and can boast that it has never been closed due to water logging since its establishment as it has excellent drainage

At the Forest of Dean Golf Club we always welcome new players to our course. We currently have packages available for 7 day and corporate membership. We are also eager to welcome all non-members and societies alike to experience what we have to offer.

Our resident professional Stuart Jenkins is available for tuition and tips throughout the year. Stuart can be found in our Golf Shop which is fully stocked with top brands and is also the place to book your golf buggies and trolleys.
