Bells Hotel and the Forest of Dean Golf Club

Bells Hotel boasts a county standard bowling green which has its own patio seating area. The well maintained green has 6 rinks. The Hotel is a great base to play a variety of local teams and we have hosted many county touring teams from all over the country. Outdoor Bowls breaks are available throughout the summer.

A recent addition to the Bells Complex is our new Short Mat Bowls facility. The “Founder’s Room” hosts four full sized short mats and a viewing gallery so that you can keep an eye on the action even when you are not playing!

4 night Short Mat breaks are available throughout the winter and include bed, breakfast a three course evening meal and entertainment every evening. A guided tour of the Forest of Dean also proves popular with our visitors.
