 Bells Hotel and the Forest of Dean Golf & Bowls Club make up the largest leisure complex in the Forest of Dean. Bells Hotel is a place to relax and unwind, visit the local area or simply play golf.
The Hotel offers 53 en-suite bedrooms (two designed for wheelchair access) and 3 fully equipped cottages, positioned in the middle of the course. Most of the rooms have spectacular views across the golf course and our bowling green.
On-site facilities include an 18 hole parkland golf course, established in 1973 which is now home to the West Region PGA Forest Classic, an Order of Merit Event. The course features lakes, streams and woodland and offers a challenge to any golfer. The course, coupled with our resident Golf Professional and a well stocked golf Shop, makes the complex the perfect venue for any golf break.
The Hotel also boasts a county standard bowling green along with a recently opened 4 rink Short Mat Bowls Centre. This ensures you can play bowls all year around regardless of the weather!
